Pay: Start of Care: $115 Eval: $95 Follow-Up: $85 Additional $30 per visit for weekends!
Service Areas: Northern Virginia cities and counties of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William.

About the Position
We're on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference in patients' lives from the comfort of their homes. In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to evaluate and treat patients experiencing difficulties with activities of daily living (ADLs), safety, pain, and quality of life due to illness, injury, or disease processes. By developing personalized treatment plans and setting achievable goals, you'll work closely with patients and their caregivers, involving them every step of the way to ensure the most effective outcomes.
Your Impact:
- Personalized Patient Care: You'll evaluate patients' needs within the home health setting, focusing on improving their ability to perform ADLs, enhancing safety, and alleviating pain through tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborative Team Approach: Through effective communication and coordination with a dedicated healthcare team, you'll ensure comprehensive care. This includes consulting with the Director of Nursing (DON) and other staff members about patient needs and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Home Environment Evaluation: Your expertise will extend to assessing patients' home environments, making recommendations to support their recovery and independence.
- Education and Empowerment: You'll play a crucial role in teaching patients and their caregivers about home exercises, safety measures, and other therapeutic techniques to promote better health and autonomy.

Job Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOPTA approved and accredited college or university.
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- CPR certification (adult only)
- Possess a Virginia Driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance and readily available, reliable transportation.
