About the position

Goodwin House Hospice is seeking an articulate, motivated and high-energy individual with experience in hospice marketing strategy who will ensure comprehensive community outreach about hospice services.

Job Duties

• Generate referrals for hospice by building relationships with physicians, long term care, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources.
• Conduct market analyses; develop sales strategy and goals in collaboration with the hospice executive director and other senior leaders.
• Conduct marketing/ sales calls, and evaluate results and effectiveness of sales activity.
• Support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.
• Market research plans for our services; collaborate on brand positioning, databases, and direct response.

Qualifications

• As a liaison with the community, excels and models professional and customer-service oriented values representing the mission and vision of Goodwin House Hospice.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in communications, business or marketing.
• Preferably one year of recent marketing experience in hospice; with at least three years total of marketing in the health care industry.
• Proven ability to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan.
• Evidence of achieving referral goals within the market.
• Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical.
• Outstanding customer service, verbal, and written skills required.
• Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Able to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
• Able to maintain confidentiality of data.
• Demonstrated computer skills for documents, spreadsheets and database management and ability to learn new electronic medical record software.
