About the position
Goodwin House Hospice is seeking an articulate, motivated and high-energy individual with experience in hospice marketing strategy who will ensure comprehensive community outreach about hospice services.
Job Duties
- Generate referrals for hospice by building relationships with physicians, long term care, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources.
- Conduct market analyses; develop sales strategy and goals in collaboration with the hospice executive director and other senior leaders.
- Conduct marketing/ sales calls, and evaluate results and effectiveness of sales activity.
- Support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.
- Market research plans for our services; collaborate on brand positioning, databases, and direct response.
Qualifications
- As a liaison with the community, excels and models professional and customer-service oriented values representing the mission and vision of Goodwin House Hospice.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in communications, business or marketing.
- Preferably one year of recent marketing experience in hospice; with at least three years total of marketing in the health care industry.
- Proven ability to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan.
- Evidence of achieving referral goals within the market.
- Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical.
- Outstanding customer service, verbal, and written skills required.
- Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Able to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
- Able to maintain confidentiality of data.
- Demonstrated computer skills for documents, spreadsheets and database management and ability to learn new electronic medical record software.
